ALA has developed matrices that identify the current status of natural and manmade hazards guidance available in the U.S. for lifeline system operators and other interested parties. The matrices can help identify the need for guidance that does not exist yet or that must be improved and modified.

• Existing Guidelines Matrices
  
  These matrices identify the existing guidelines and standards for lifeline systems components and specific natural and manmade hazards. They show lifeline design and assessment guidelines and standards prepared by Standards Developing Organizations, professional and industry organizations, and practitioners in the relevant fields.
